Follow the above link for updates on the status of the Il Horse Transport Bill. Currently the EPN SUPPORTS because the Hostile Amendment was withdrawn due to swift opposition, before the IL House Voted to PASS the bill. Now the bill is in the IL Senate. Double
deck trailers are not designed, safety tested, or
manufactured for horses. The USDA has stated that they
cannot be made safe and humane for horses, even if modified.
The EPN has provided Osmond's office with documentation
supporting the above statements.
